OUR MANUFACTURING

WHEN THE MAGIC WORKS!

From the design to your mailbox, we trace for you the steps, all more exciting than the others, of the life of an Ana&Cha jewel.

The inspiration: When the imaginary takes shape

It is together that we create the moodboards for our future collections. A palette of colors, textures, trends, and shapes then inspires our designers. Who imagine and design all our creations in our Parisian studio.

Sampling: From design to the first prototypes

Once the drawings are validated, production can begin.

It is therefore in the heart of our certified partner factories that the first samples are born at the end of a long manufacturing process where craftsmanship, ancestral techniques, and technology come into play.

The Micro fusion:

1st step: The creation of the mold

1. Creation of a model of the first piece in wax or metal, made by hand or with the help of a 3D printer.

2. This model will be used for the manufacturing of the mold.

3. Making the silicone mold, which reproduces the imprint of the model

4. Injection of the wax into the molds.

2nd step: The creation of the wax tree to metal.

1. Assembling the wax on a rod to form the pouring tree or "fir" that will allow multiple pieces to be made at the same time.

2. Placing the tree in a metal cylinder.

3. Filling the cylinder with plaster.

4. The cylinder is then placed in a microfusion furnace. The molten metal (brass) will be poured inside to take the place of the wax.

5. The cylinder cools, the plaster is then dissolved, making way for a metal tree: the metal has taken the place of the wax.

The Polishing

This technique involves separating, cleaning, and polishing the pieces. We prefer hand polishing, which better corresponds to the fineness of our jewelry.

The Crimping

All the stones present on our jewelry are hand-set, using a craft technique that involves placing them individually according to the design of the piece.

Hand setting requires expertise and time, and allows for precise and aesthetically unique results.

As a reminder, all the stones we use are natural, each is thus unique in its color nuances, and possesses virtues that are its own.

The Chainage

For fine chains and mesh work, we generally use mechanical manufacturing.

This manufacturing offers great precision and uniformity of the links, while preserving the originality of our designs.

As for other, larger creations, we use artisanal chain work.

This involves carefully assembling and welding the links by hand, one by one, to create a strong and aesthetic chain.

The result is sublime!

The veneer

The final step in the making of our jewelry: gold plating! Made from 100% recycled gold. All our creations are thus covered with a thickness of gold of 3 to 5 microns to offer the best resistance to time. They are then immersed in a bath of 24-carat gold that will bring shine and brilliance for a long time. It is not for nothing that we guarantee the plating of all our jewelry for 3 years!
