What is silver plating
As with our gold-plated jewelry, we start with a brass base, onto which we apply a precious metal. Here, it is a thick layer of 12 microns of silver, protected by a rhodium finish, to preserve the brilliance of the jewelry and limit the oxidation of the silver.
