Precious stones, fine, natural, we tell you everything!
What is a precious stone?
Hardness, purity, and rarity, these are the three key words when it comes to precious stones.
There are four of them: ruby, sapphire, emerald, and diamond.
Here are some examples below of our latest novelties set with the precious stone: ruby.
What is a fine stone ?
Fine stones are gems that are not part of the four precious stones.
Attention, only stones from natural mineral deposits can be called fine stones, they are therefore in no way reconstituted or synthetic.
Previously also called 'semi-precious stones', this term is now prohibited in commerce, as it causes confusion for consumers.
To date, the number of fine stones varies according to classifications, but the most common are amethyst, topaz, peridot, aquamarine, and green tourmaline. Aventurine, onyx, and quartz are also included.
